City National Arena Build-Out
City National Arena, opened in 2017, is the official practice facility and team headquarters of the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League. The arena is located in Downtown Summerlin and offers two professional rinks. It is also the home venue for the UNLV Rebels hockey program, the Las Vegas Thunderbirds, the Vegas Jesters of the Mountain West Hockey League and the Junior Golden Knights.
City National Arena features The Arsenal, a modern medieval-themed store where you can score all of your official Vegas Golden Knights apparel and gear, a full-service restaurant/bar and an array of other features and amenities. Hockey and figure skating programs for the general public cater to skaters of all skill levels and ages. Private event opportunities include corporate outings, birthday parties, special events and more.
Modern Elements Construction was responsible for the build-out. Working with the architectural plans, as well as ideas from the City National Arena employees, a vision for the new look came to life, especially the gold and black.
